St. John’s Community Health offers comprehensive services to patients along the HIV continuum of care, including testing, linkage to care, and treatment in Los Angeles. We strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment and treat our patients with respect and ensure everyone receives high quality medical care.
What is PrEP?
PrEP means Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, and it’s the use of anti-HIV medications to keep HIV negative people from becoming infected. PrEP is approved by the FDA and has been shown to be safe and effective at preventing HIV infection. Click here to read more

Overcoming HIV’s Stigma in Communities of Color
Leo was in his 20s when he learned he’d been exposed to HIV. After completing a 30-day regimen of HIV medications, his test results came back negative. Now, Leo is an HIV Peer Support Specialist at St. John’s Well Child and Family Center in Los Angeles.
